A comical "ciné-journal" not quite intimate, nor outrageously public. After they've been checked, dissected, polished and calibrated, your eyes discover an incredible painting and few figures of an undescrible country. The painting is the "Landscape with the fall of icarus" painted by pieter BREUGHEL around 1555. And the country is Belgium. between these two, a filmmaker, unemployed people, psychoanalysts, philosophers, presidents of political parties... and a Prime Minister, all questionning the same subject : what does it mean TO LOOK ? A learned question with multiple ramifications to which the film whishes to answer in a simple way and with the complicity of a guest of honor: Icarus himself.
